As Super Admin, open API Connections and create the “VISORA Public Test API” channel.
Run the real API test, then sync the remote test dataset into Review Hub.
Open Review Hub to inspect normalized reviews, sentiment and topics.

💡 Important

Public Test data is synthetic external test data, not real OTA reviews. Its purpose is to verify DNS/TLS/HTTPS/JSON and the full VISORA pipeline.

Registration, sign-in and language

One VISORA account gives access to dashboards, integrations, reports and support according to your role.

Step by step

New users choose Sign up/Free trial and use a real email plus a strong password.
Existing users choose Sign in. Switch VI/EN from the top bar.
If you forget the password, use Forgot password; VISORA sends a one-time token link by email.
After sign-in, complete Account Security whenever VISORA shows a warning.

💡 Important

System SMTP must be configured by Super Admin for real password-recovery email delivery.

Create a hotel/business profile

Use one Business Profile per hotel/property so every source maps to the correct property.

Step by step

Create a website/brand or select an existing profile.
Enter a clear hotel name, website and identity information.
When live APIs are available, map each source Place ID/Property ID/Hotel ID/Location ID to this profile.
For hotel groups, create separate properties for accurate benchmarking and permissions.

💡 Important

Do not create a separate database per Google, Booking, Agoda or Tripadvisor source. VISORA normalizes them into one data model.

TEST NOW: real public API, no key required

This is the recommended first test. VISORA makes a real outbound HTTPS request to DummyJSON, parses JSON and imports sample reviews into Review Hub.

Step by step

Sign in as Super Admin.
Open API Connections and select the correct Business Profile.
Find “VISORA Public Test API”, keep Dataset around 12 and click “Create real test channel”.
Click “Call real API to test”. A successful result shows HTTP status and sample review count.
Open Review Hub → select the Test API source → Sync to import remote data through the real pipeline.
Inspect sentiment/topics/departments to confirm the end-to-end flow.

💡 Important

This is NOT Google/Booking/Tripadvisor and must never be treated as production reputation data. It only proves the server can call an HTTPS API and VISORA can process a genuine external response.

Understand Demo vs Public Test vs Live

VISORA separates three environments so “the demo works” is never confused with “the OTA API works”.

Step by step

Internal Demo: VISORA-generated source data; no Internet call.
Public Test API: real HTTPS call to a public test service; no key; synthetic data.
Live API: official Google/Booking/Tripadvisor/Agoda credentials with each platform’s authorization rules.
Before buying APIs, use Public Test to validate infrastructure; use Demo only for quick UI/logic checks.

💡 Important

When moving to Live, disable Test/Demo for that source and verify property authorization before syncing real data.

VISORA central API architecture

Hotels do not need to hold each OTA secret. Super Admin manages platform connectors; tenants only map properties and use features allowed by their plan.

Step by step

Live credentials remain in the Super Admin area.
Plans determine available sources and limits.
Sources requiring ownership/property authorization still require the platform-specific authorization step.

Google Places: find hotels and competitors

With an official Google Places API key, VISORA can search by hotel name, map a Place ID and discover nearby competitors.

Step by step

Super Admin saves the Google Places API Key and switches Google to Live.
Tenant opens API Connections, searches a name such as “Diamond Sea Hotel Da Nang” and picks the correct result.
VISORA stores the Place ID mapping; public Places data is used for live benchmarking.
Use Competitors & Ranking to discover 10–20 nearby hotels and choose a competitive set.

💡 Important

Google Places is not the full review-history source. Full owned-property reviews/replies require Google Business Profile with appropriate authorization.

Booking.com: official test environment when Partner access exists

Booking.com provides a Guest Review API test environment, but there is no universal public credential that can be bundled into VISORA.

Step by step

You need Connectivity Partner/Machine Account access and a test property with active Review API connection.
Create a reservation on the test property, submit a test review, then retrieve/reply through Guest Review API.
After VISORA receives Booking test credentials, configure the connector for the authorized test property.
Until then, use VISORA Public Test API to validate network and processing.

💡 Important

Do not embed another partner’s test account. Booking test properties are still authorization-scoped.

Filter by period or source.
Review totals, positive/neutral/negative counts and normalized score.
A review can carry mixed sentiment: positive overall but negative for a specific topic.
Add internal notes or create an Action from a critical review.

💡 Important

A source total-review count and the number of review bodies actually retrieved/classified are different metrics.

Step by step

Enable Security Mode and TOTP/Passkey for Super Admin/Owner.

Step by step
