VISORA calls Google Nearby Search using lodging place types, excludes your own Place ID, and calculates a live VISORA Benchmark from rating and review volume in that response.
The resulting rank is only a comparison inside the returned peer set; it is not Google Search ranking and it is not a complete census of every hotel in the area.
VISORA saves only selected Place IDs for tracking; it does not persist public Places rating/address/review-count snapshots.
Historical bad-comment intelligence requires a source/API whose terms allow the underlying review content to be stored and analyzed.
